FAQ

What is the price range of your dresses?

Our bridal skirt and wedding dress collections range in price from $1500-$6000+ depending on designer and style. The vast majority of our collection is in the $1800-$4000 price range.

How many people can I bring to my bridal appointment?

Brides can bring up to four guests to their appointment, this number includes children.

What are your sample sizes?

Most of our samples are bridal size 10 and 12 (standard in most boutiques), with a few size 14 and 16 samples. We are able to clip dresses down sizes or extend dresses up sizes as well, so don't let sample sizes deter you from coming to try on! We will do everything we can to ensure you have a wonderful experience. Get in touch with us if you have any particular questions about sample sizes, we're happy to chat!

What is the typical lead time for orders?

Typical creation time is four to five months, however rush services are available with a fee.

Do you have sample sales/off the rack availability?

Yes occasionally we will have standard sizes in stock on particular designs or have samples available for purchase. Get in touch to inquire about what is currently available or be sure to follow our social media accounts for updates on sample sales and events.

Will I need alterations?

Yes, it is extremely common to require alterations especially with standard sizing (and even made to measure to get things perfect). It's actually very rare to never require any alterations to a wedding dress. We do not offer in-house alterations and brides can use any seamstress they prefer. It is important to research which tailor/seamstress you will use and organize your fittings directly with them as this process is handled exclusively between you and your chosen professional. It is important, no matter where a bride shops, that you do not expect a wedding dress to fit perfectly until it has been altered by a seamstress. Alteration costs are not the responsibility of Botanica Bridal so it's important to research this and allocate a budget to this important common fixture of wedding dress shopping.

Why do I need to fill out the intake form?

The intake form which is emailed to you prior to your appointment will allow us to gather key information which will help us find you your dream dress! We pride ourselves on making a human connection with all of our brides, and this involves getting to know you and what you envision for your special day. The intake form greatly assists us in getting to know you, thus, getting us one step closer to finding your dream wedding dress.
